Jules, it's rare than someone with your class and good character (hey, just let me believe it!) has the guts to go live the dream and then be generous enough to share it with those of us stuck out here in the safe, secure and thoroughly BORING, bland and spirit sucking West. Subscription to this site is the best deal I've seen since $1.10/gallon gasoline!
Khwanjai is a lovely, very funny lady with a wonderful skill. Again, kudos to you both for having the cajones to leave the "comforts" of the UK for a real life doing what you love in Thailand.

First I'd like to say I get a lot more from this website besides the really good recipes, its the first website that goes into what kind of things go well together and that kind of thing has given me a much better understanding and I've enjoyed Thai food more then ever.

It’s nice to have this kind of interaction with you guys. Boy, am I glad I found your website. I’ve been a Silver member since you opened, when ever I’ve needed advice, you’ve been there instantly, I have cooked over 20 of your recipes now, the videos make all the difference, I feel like I know you guys, man that’s powerful, it’s like I don’t want to miss a single episode, the best part for me is the way you always show the key turning points real close up so I know what I’m aiming for, I’ve gotten a much better understanding of Thai cooking.

We're Different!

Our video tutorials are not the sort of thing you see on the free video sites or other recipe websites, we specialise in Thai cooking only. We do not show a video of someone “just cooking”, or a video with “text recipe in the video” or still photo’s in series, they are full motion wide screen, educational tutorials purposely designed to helping anyone master Thai cooking from scratch, no detail is left out, but the top tips are the icing on the curry!

New students are often wary of stir frying, fast and furious cooking at high heat, and quite naturally too. I remember when I first tried, I managed to burn the first ingredient into the wok, but the apprehension quickly turned into confidence as I became more practised. Khwanjai makes it look so easy! And it is, with practice comes experience and understanding of the ingredients.

We have compiled a Thai Food Wiki just for ingredients, a work in progress as we continually add new items, the initial focus is on the different names used in different countries to help our members find the right ingredient plus specific information about that ingredient. We also cover them in our video blog, tutorial articles and members video tutorials, which by the way are not just videos of Khwanjai cooking, they are full on tutorials, you'll be surprised how much you'll learn, and she shares her Thai chefs top tips and secrets in every video tutorial with lots of close-ups showing the defining points of the cooking and preparation process

In every cooking class video tutorial, we remind members to print the recipe before watching, (there's a print button on every Thai recipe) this enables you to make relevant notes as Khwanjai gives away so many top tips in every Thai cooking class, then it’s off to the kitchen with you (and your laptop if you want) to get stuck in, or down to the market to buy some lovely fresh ingredients
